It is approaching the end of lunchtime and I am scalping the DAX indices. My scalps tend to last no more than 15 minutes and even sometimes less than one minute.
I am looking for the market to break above the 12600 level during the tight bull trend that the market has assumed over lunch.
Watch as the market moves against me early in the trade. It is important not to panic when this happens. Sometimes it results in a loss but on this occasion the spike against me did not reach my exit point and I took the opportunity to scale into my long position.
I exited my second scalp trade as the market reached near to the entry point for my first trade on its way back upwards. I sometimes do this on my scalping as it helps give me options with how I manage the rest of the trade.
Finally we do get a break above the 12600 as I had hoped and I manage my first scalp trade as the market break upwards to a new high.
